​Dialogue plays an invaluable role in creating our reality. As babies we hear our parents talk and while we don’t understand them, we can feel them. Then we start to learn to speak. Letters become words and eventually we find a sentence or two. We talk more, we get better at it, and some of us even learn to listen and understand the other person.

Conversations is a seven–part video series where I go through my former beliefs as a neo-Nazi. I got into the movement at 14 years old and left it behind, along with those views, at 21. In the videos, I sit on one side of a table as I am today. I sit on the other side of the table as I was at 19, two years before I left the movement behind.

These videos are NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. I talk in these videos as if I were still involved in that life. There is an EXTREME RACIAL TRIGGER WARNING in every video. You will hear slurs and views I once had expressed openly and freely. This is not without purpose, but it will be difficult to hear.

Originally, this was just going to be a side project I’d do to help approach the issue in a new way. It became a career change into life coaching, specifically targeting cult members, neo-Nazis, felons, sex workers, incels, and the like. Realizing the value in the methods I used to create this series have flowed into realizing others could also benefit from this same approach.

The idea of being a life coach had never crossed my mind before this was shot, during, or for several months after. Completely unintentionally, I created a video series where I life coached my younger self. Seeing these videos through that lens was a new concept I have expanded upon.

These people are worth talking to. They are worth approaching with a sense of compassion and empathy. Redemption is possible for them.

The divide begins to get destroyed through dialogue, not canceling them.
